Here are some samples of the many music typesetting projects that we have worked on. Most of the projects involved working as part of a professional production chain and working with a large team of specialists. Here we wish to demonstrate our part of the workflow without claiming any merit for the work of the other professionals involved!
After a photo of the front cover of the publication, there is a table which presents technical details. The table is a summary of the project that will convey meaning at a glance to anyone involved in publishing or the production of books. Further images of some of the pages describe various aspects of the music typesetting requirements. Please note the images here are only 96 dpi which will appear well on screen. However, the hi-res publishing quality is 1,200 dpi for most of these projects. At this high resolution musical slurs and dynamic hairpins, which contain diagonal lines, appear exceptionally clear and avoid any hint of the staircased effect (jaggies) that is noticeable even at 600 dpi. Our Highest Quality Music Typesetting
For the highest quality, we have the capacity to create music notation at 2,400 dpi. This high-end quality, which is not achievable from every music notation software program on the market, is suited to the production standards used in the highest quality glossy magazines, for example. However, this resolution does not work well with all types of repro and often we have to consider the choice of paper used and the facilities/machines of printing companies that will work on a project.

The author and publishers also released a Braille embossed edition of this book for blind readers. The visual approach of the print edition is for teachers, parents and helpers to see the Braille that the blind will read by touch and also to help sighted people learn Braille Music.
